"Seven reels full of tricks and a big laugh with every trick"
The film is set on a late night at the grocery store of grocer Elmer Prettywillie. He has to deal with difficult buyers, who ultimately don't want anything and a false fire alarm goes off, which later turns out to be a real fire. And to make matters worse, thieves also enter his shop.
