La Masseria delle Allodole plot
The story about the rich Armenian family Avakian, in particular the two brothers Aram, a landlord in Turkey, and Assadour, a successful doctor in Venice. Around 1915 the two brothers decide to meet again in their homeland Armenia. They prepare for their journey, while the family in Armenia makes the necessary preparations. But it turns out that the political situation in Turkey has changed so much that the ruling group wants to create a great Turkish Empire. This leads to a massacre in Armenia, which also affects the Avakian family.
