Börn plot
Karitas is a single mother who struggles to make ends meet. She battles with her ex-husband over custody of her three daughters, but loses sight of her other child, twelve-year-old son Gudmund, who is bullied terribly at school. Gudmund has a boyfriend, Marinó, a schizophrenic in his forties who still lives with his mother. When Marinó learns that his mother is in a secret relationship, his world collapses and he loses his grip on reality. Meanwhile, for once in his life, Gardar, Gudmund's abusive father, tries to do something good: he contacts his son - with dramatic consequences.
