Feet First plot

"Every inch -- a thrill!"

Harold Horne is an ambitious shoe salesman. He meets Barbara, the daughter of his boss, whom he does not recognize, and tells her that he is a rich leather magnate. But when she wants to introduce him to her father in order to possibly get down to business, Harold realizes he's made a stupid mistake and must do everything he can to keep this sham going.
