Lotna plot

Poetic adaptation of Wajda's childhood memories of the Second World War. Soldiers on horseback armed with lances go into battle against the advancing German tanks. These uhlans were once the proud vanguard of the Polish army. The protagonist is Lotna, a white thoroughbred, who sends her riders into destruction like an angel of death.
