Peter Derns, a marketing employee at a cake manufacturer that was recently taken over by another company, is forced to hire temporary help when his permanent assistant goes on maternity leave. Kris Bolin turns out to be an efficient employee. However, she also knows how to deal efficiently with his actual assistant when he returns after her leave.
