Le Silence de la Mer plot
During the German occupation in World War II, the villa where the young orphaned Jeanne Larosière lives with her grandfather is confiscated. The German officer who claims part of the house turns out to be a fervent Francophile, with a great sense of music, and who is also attractive enough to attract Jeanne's attention.
