A Legényanya plot
In the small village of Rátót, every man is called Béla. However, when Rozi gives birth to a boy, she decides to call him Józsi, to the astonishment of the other villagers. Józsi is treated differently by his name and at some point is sent to another place to take tractor training. When Józsi returns to Rátót (by pushing his engineless tractor) he gets a lot of attention from the locals, but he flees from any girl who approaches him. Nevertheless, a girl eventually manages to dive into his room and impregnate Józsi. The village is turned upside down when the news of his pregnancy comes out.
