Pantaleón y las Visitadoras plot
Pantaleón Pantoja, an efficient officer in the Peruvian army, is sent from above to a remote region of the Amazon. He is ordered to set up a brothel there, to keep the lonely soldiers in the area happy. Pantoja isn't happy with his orders at first, but as a dedicated officer, he nevertheless uses his organizational talents to accomplish his assignment to the best of his ability.
