Chechnya, War without Trace plot

In just a few years, Chechnya underwent a total metamorphosis. Minefields and ruins were replaced by wide boulevards, huge skyscrapers and luxury boutiques. These remain almost empty, because few people have the money to shop there. It is almost impossible to see that there was a bloody war not so long ago. However, the effects of the devastating battle live on in the minds and hearts of bereaved families, who saw their children, husbands and fathers disappear never to return.
