Dororo plot
"Fueled by hate, entwined by fate... their paths begin to unravel."
The film is set in the Sengoku period. Forty-eight fearsome, powerful majins discover the birth of a powerful human. They believe that it will become a powerful demon destroyer in the future. They go to the father of the unborn child and ask him to remove forty-eight body parts from the child. He does this, having been promised invincibility in hard times. Then he leaves it by a river. The baby is taken by Jukai. Jukai raises him like a normal boy. Yet he still retains magical powers. Despite having his eyes, mouth and ears removed, he can still see, talk and hear. Still, he wants revenge on the forty-eight majins when he grows up. He is assisted by Dororo, Japan's greatest thief.
