La Traque plot
When Helen Wells encounters a group of hunters on a forest walk, two of them rape her and try to kill her. However, she can escape and shoot one of them. Now, however, the rest of the group decides to hunt and kill her as loot.

Good film that does leave a very bitter aftertaste. A group of prominent villagers organize a wild boar hunt in the nearby woods, but the hunt gradually turns into a manhunt when some of them harass a young British tourist.
The innocence of one person is sacrificed to cover up the guilt of the others. Because those neat villagers have their own dirty mentality and secrets. It is a psychological thriller in which the cowardly and opportunistic reasoning of the hunters is important to understand the actions on screen. Finally, it seems like a kind of sexist metaphor for female powerlessness versus male dominance. Forgotten film, but quite intriguing and one that keeps going on in my head.
