Anatahan plot
Twelve Japanese sailors are stranded on the deserted and forgotten island of Antahan in 1944 after their boat was bombed. The island was once a plantation, but is now inhabited by only two people; the old plantation superintendent and a woman. After a few months, the sailors realize that they will never be found again and a fierce power struggle ensues.
