"You're a Criminal or You're Not. There is No In Between"

Claudia is 22 years old. She grew up in the United States as an illegal immigrant. When she is arrested by the FBI for credit card fraud, she is deported to Mexico. But she doesn't speak Spanish and feels lost in her strange "homeland". Reluctantly, she seeks refuge with her estranged father on his cattle ranch. Her father is an unyielding man and she clashes with him. She makes an attempt to return home and contacts the foreign smuggler Ricky, which turns out to be a dangerous decision.
