Po Jie plot
The story of the Chinese Lady Snowblood. A woman ends up in jail for attempting to avenge her husband's murder. In prison, she eventually gives birth to a daughter who is destined to leave a bloody trail of revenge.

Seen on the bluray release of Eureka. This has the original hongkong cut but also an extended cut, which is 4 minutes longer.
We follow Pure Lotus (Angela Mao) who wants to avenge the death of her father. Lotus was raised as an orphan by nuns in the temple. However, due to her angry and vengeful nature, she is later banished because she repeatedly breaks the rules. The only thing she knows about her father's death is that it concerns four men. Her search for clues begins, and soon she gets help from Bruce Leung, one of the talented Bruce Lee clones, with his high kicks.
Action directors are Hsia Hsu and Yuen Woo-ping, who we of course know from "Drunken Master" with Jackie Chan. We also see small roles from Sammo Hung as a bodyguard and Dean Shek as the manager of the brothel, always funny to see him. Some cool fights with Mao who uses hidden weapons, including an army of scorpions.
Not as good as “Hapkido”, but Mao shows some good work here.
