Spirit plot

After the sudden death of her mother, Kelly moves to New Orleans with her father Jesse. Jesse has acquired a beautiful old mansion and hopes the new environment will encourage his daughter to pick up her life again. Kelly, however, is not feeling well in the house: she is convinced that a ghost is wandering. Jesse pays little attention to her hunch, but the mysterious happenings in and around the house soon take their toll: Kelly gets into trouble at school and gets into a fight with her father for spending too much time with neighbor Cole.
