Der Schatz der Azteken plot
At the time of the American Civil War, a bloody battle is also raging in Mexico. President Benito Juarez tries to overthrow Emperor Maximilian of Austria, who has been placed as ruler of Mexico by the French authorities. dr. Karl Sternau (Lex Barker) fights on the side of the Mexicans against bandits and Indians. Several parties are also after an old gold treasure of the Aztecs. However, this treasure of Montezuma seems to bear a deadly curse.
