Documentary about visual artist Dora Dolz; filmed by her daughter, filmmaker Sonia Herman Dolz. The Spanish Dora Dolz (1941, Barcelona) lives and works in Rotterdam for most of her life. Her paintings and ceramic sculptures are very un-Dutch, especially in the exuberance of the use of colours. Dolz's playful, earthy and accessible work appeals to many different people.
