I wasn't that upset about it. I was especially annoyed by the ladies, I really never laughed at them once. Now I couldn't laugh often while watching this movie anyway, and if it came to a minimal smile it was because of one of the gentlemen.

I like Adam in Modern Family, which I mainly know him from. Here I often find him over the top and too busy. I thought Zac was so-so too. Too bad, after seeing the disappointing Neighbors 2 earlier this week, I had hoped that this movie would be a little more entertaining. Unfortunately it's rather flat, predictable (That Bridesmaid, terribly annoying) and (too) adolescent. The acting is also not the best everywhere, especially Zac clearly had trouble here and there to be credible. Fortunately, his appearance makes up for a lot, but that doesn't save the film either.

Laughed a little, yawned a lot.?

While these kinds of banal films are usually not my thing, I still enjoyed myself with this film. Not all jokes are successful (far from it), but the fast pace, the atmosphere and the occasionally surprising developments together make for an amusing film. Doable for once.

Very drowsy.

Definitely not my humor, I saw that from minute 1. But because I want to watch every film, I dragged myself through the other 90 minutes to be able to write a piece on it. In my conclusion I can be short about this, this was not my thing.

Plaza, Kendrick and Efron are completely out of place as comedians here. But then also really complete, especially Plaza. Not that she performs her character badly, she just wasn't funny at all. Neither does Kendrick. Efron probably really in his worst "man role".

DeVine hits the right note here and there, and there are some moments that really work. Richardson's outburst that he's not boring was the best part. But all jokes in general go on way too long and are just plain bland and dull.

It's exactly this kind of busy humor that doesn't work for me. Especially when Kendrick and Plaza start doing "girl talk" was the low point of the film. Well, the absolute low point was Wetterlund as "Terry". I have rarely seen anyone make such a bad joke.

The locations may be there, but they are often poorly portrayed. The Jurassic Park park was the highlight, because you only get to see 1 scene above Hawaii. As a result, there is no atmosphere anywhere in this mess, where the camera work is too normal and the timing is downright lousy.

Especially in the more "serious" moments showing up with this kind of nonsense doesn't work. And then the whole movie is filled with that. Very unfortunate, but not my thing at all, while Efron, DeVine, Kendrick and plaza usually attract me (why did I watch this differently?). And this is a big disappointment.

Extra points though, because when the film could hit the right note, it got me laughing. But there I also had to apply the how-will-it-be-if-I-stand-by tactic.
