Love it! The '90s, in my opinion, are the most shameless when it comes to cheesy rip-offs. This time, the Giger Alien's handicapped brother gets to wreak havoc in the swamp. Or well... probably just the woods behind the house of mastermind Steve Latshaw (whose Death Mask (1998) I previously saw and awarded with a 2.5* rating...). It's commendable that he dares to portray it clearly for the most part, and that he also mostly shot it in daylight. The complete opposite of that is usually the course of events in these kinds of films.

The Alien, equipped with a tongue that sucks its victims dry in seconds, makes it clear, especially towards the end, that you shouldn't fuck with the universe. Tongue-wrestling (and I don't mean like in your teenage years), he worms his way through the many obstacles, such as tents... and thatched huts. Meanwhile, the all-star cast, two or three strong, stands in a row, reciting what Patrick Morgan (regular writer for Latshaw's work) has written for the camera. That's gold...
