Very Important Person plot

"Even the GERMAN ARMY couldn't fight this..."

Sir Ernest Pease is a highly intelligent professor, who comes across as quite self-righteous and self-centered. While flying over Germany during World War II to test the operation of one of his inventions, his plane is hit by a grenade. He falls from the aircraft and ends up as a prisoner of war in a German camp. However, his strange behavior makes the other POWs think he is a spy for the Germans.
