Le Fantôme de Canterville plot
According to a British legend, the ghost of Eleanor Canterville is condemned to wander her family's castle and chase all the inhabitants away. The ghost fulfills this task perfectly, aided by Gwilherm, a faithful servant. But when the Otis family, a family fleeing Parisian life, buys the castle, Eleanor is angry because she can no longer frighten the relatives, who come from the twenty-first century. Worse, the kids make fun of her and the parents ignore her. Only fifteen-year-old Virginia Otis cares about the Ghost of Canterville and will try to free her from the curse that rests on her...
