Anders als die Andern plot
Paul Körner is a gay violinist who is blackmailed by Bollek. However, when Bollek's blackmail goes too far, Körner goes to German court for protection. But according to the code, paragraph 175, Körner also breaks the law with his homosexuality. This could cost him his love, his freedom and even his life.
