Mediocre film in which an artist seeks refuge on an island in Australia. The film has little to do, and although it doesn't get boring, it could have been more. For example, the relationship between the artist and his new muse could have been worked out better. The somewhat peculiar humor does not do the film any good either. Nice to see a young Hellen MIrren here and also the location (an island in the Great Barrier Reef) produces some nice pictures.

Pleasant film, with an artist, Brad, who retires to a quiet exotic island... Quiet, or so he thinks! He does have a few neighbours: an alcoholic slob, a single lady with her dog and not least the young orphan Cora, in whom he finds his new muse while she discovers her powers of seduction and a special bond develops between them. I would like to add right away that this is not explicitly about sexual feelings. An exception might be the strange scene in which a young skipper Cora tries to assault ... strange because a attack on indecency is already laughed off here.
Not much happens but it's amazingly well acted by old fart Mason and a still young Helen Mirren who already had a lot of charisma and also shows a lot of her beautiful body. This film certainly left a positive impression and also contains some humor. Very thick 3
