La Piste plot

After the death of her mother, Grace (14 years old) decides to return to Africa to find the geologist Gary. This Gary is her father, whom she has barely seen since her parents' divorce. The reunion should not last long. The next day, Gary leaves for the desert again to do some research. Fierce storms cause Gary's plane to crash in the middle of the desert. There he becomes the prisoner of a band of guerrilla fighters. Grace sets out with a friend as a guide into the desert to look for her father.
