La 7ème Compagnie au Clair de Lune plot
1942. Chef Chaudard (Pierre Mondy) is back in civilian life, working in his hardware store located in the occupied zone of France. He is visited by his two companions from the seventh company, Pithivier (Jean Lefebvre) and Tassin (Henri Guybet). Chaudard is unaware that his wife Suzanne (Patricia Karim) and his brother-in-law Gorgeton (Gerard Jugnot) work for the resistance. When the three surrogate soldiers go poaching for a night, they inevitably end up in the waters of the resistance and the Gestapo.

Not the best of the "7ième Compagnie" series. Of course, Mondy, Lefèbvre and Henri Guybet, with his contagious laugh, guarantee several comic moments, but perhaps the third film was a bit too much and there is some "déjà vu" in it.

Last part of the trilogy and about as entertaining as the predecessors. Each part contains enough variation to distinguish itself from the other parts and can also be viewed on its own. Everything is right about this farce: excellent screenplay and acting performances. Each part also contains an 'explosive' moment which also says something about the nice production values.
