In 2001, 35 musicians took part in a dazzling concert tour consisting of Flamenco dance, a brass band, Romanian ballads, wedding music, Indian raga, Sufi and folk. They received standing ovations and great reviews. Their performances were acclaimed in the United States and Europe. The camera follows this concert tour and then visits the artists at home in Spain, Macedonia, Romania and India. Vibrant scenes of music and dance are punctuated by intimate, sad and joyful off-stage moments. This is a unique journey through gypsy music, its origins and life.
