"He can fly a jet, race a car and outsmart a computer. The government created him and now they want him destroyed."
Daryl, a ten-year-old boy, is found wandering in the woods one day. He has amnesia. Through a children's home he ends up with a childless couple. There he seems to be developing into a genius child: he is far ahead of his classmates and masters all the subject matter very quickly. Then suddenly Daryl's real parents appear on the scene and the truth comes to light.

Not fantastic, but an entertaining youth film that I once saw as a child. Even for my childhood sentiment, I could remember little about this film. It all looks naive and dated; this film has lost a lot of praise in this regard. There is a lot of action in the second half, including a decent car chase.
PS: Strange poster above, suspected fake. DARYL is a Columbia film, and the poster lists Paramount as the production house.
