Jirí Kroupa, a mechanic at a machine factory, has to go back to school due to circumstances to finish his education. He ends up at the same school where his son also attends. It soon becomes apparent that daddy is much worse than his son, so that the patience of both the teachers and the fellow students is severely tested.
