It's a week before the US election and the chances are that President Fallbrook's bid to be re-elected will fail. From an unexpected source, a presidential employee comes up with a puzzling plan. What if the president is kidnapped? And what if this is carried out by friendly CIA agents with the knowledge of just that one "person" in the White House. Would that generate enough publicity to guarantee President Fallbrook's re-election? In deep secrecy, a team of confidants is informed that the plan bordering on insane can be carried out. Then betrayal creates blistering tension and blood-curdling action.
