Finally watched this one, after I recorded it from the WDR a few years ago.

Good thing too, because apparently I was very tired at the time, I thought I had closed my eyes for five minutes, when I open them again, I see protagonist Lawrence riding towards the horizon on horseback. I still thought: "This could be a nice ending to the film!", then, to my surprise, the credits start. Apparently it was five very long minutes....

As for the movie itself:
fairly average work with our favorite pedantic youngster in the leading role. Also a number of well-known figures from the genre, such as Fajardo, this time on the right side of the law (namely as sheriff).

The interaction between Lawrence and Spoletini works effectively and is a lot of fun, both in terms of collaboration and trying to outdo each other.

For the rest, nothing special, you've seen it all better before, the story goes in all directions, with even a plot twist at the end, which certainly doesn't make the hero of the story any more sympathetic[/spoiler ].

For me the least Spaghetti with Lawrence so far.

A measly five, or 2.5 stars.
