Here Comes the Groom plot
Pete Garvey (Bing Crosby), a foreign correspondent, runs a makeshift adoption agency for war orphans in Paris when he receives the ultimatum from his former fiancée, Emmadel Jones (Jane Wyman). Pete returns to Boston, complete with two adopted orphans, to melt her heart. Too late! Emmadel is already engaged to the rich, handsome Wilbur Stanley (Franchot Tone). But if Pete doesn't get married in five days, he'll lose custody of the kids...
