Florist and widower Lewis suddenly falls in love with Liza Walker and sends her a bunch of roses every day. She succumbs to his charms, but their relationship does not become evident. Lizzie turns out to be a compulsive workaholic who still has to deal with a lot of demons from her past. The question is whether the romantic Lewis will be able to gain her trust and whether their pasts will stand in the way of a hopeful future.
