Claire Gautier is thirty years old and works for an insurance company. She leads a harmonious and carefree life with her husband Fabrice and her daughter Pauline. One day at the office, she meets the vet Laurent Kessler. Laurent radiates an ambiguous emotion - by turns funny, sarcastic or witty - that immediately touches Claire. They soon meet again, at Laurent's veterinary practice and at the zoo where he also works. Their relationship quickly becomes more personal. Laurent makes no secret of his real interests: he is a seducer, or rather a womanizer, a tireless and never satisfied hunter. With Claire, however, he seems to be pursuing another goal that he himself does not know...
