Coquette plot

"100% talking picture"

Norma Besant (Mary Pickford), the daughter of a southern state doctor, has a whole bunch of boys to choose from. She begins to feel the most for Michael Jeffery (Johnny Mack Brown), a stubborn hothead, but with a heart of gold. Her father shows his disapproval clearly and when the couple ignores his will, he bursts out with his southern temper.
