20-year-old Jeab learns that his childhood friend Noi Nah is getting married. He doesn't want to miss that wedding and returns to the provincial town of his childhood - in the Thailand of the eighties. Along the way he plays music from that time and all memories come back. The film shows how 10-year-old Jeab is late for the school bus every day, leaving his father to chase the bus; how he always plays with Noi Nah and her friends after school. Still, he wants to belong to the boys - hang out with them and play football with them. But that's not easy. They make fun of him and his girl games. If he wants to join them and be boy with the boys, he must first prove that he is not a softy and renounce the girls. They put him on the line - and Jeab makes his choice.
