Motorama plot

"There's only one way to win the girl of your dreams: floor it!"

A ten-year-old boy becomes obsessed with the so-called 'motorama game'; a savings campaign of a gas pump chain with an unbelievably large cash prize. In a stolen, high-profile Mustang, with homemade leg extensions to reach the pedals, he crosses America in search of motorama cards with the correct letters to form the word 'motorama'. On his journey, he encounters the most unlikely of characters, each crazier and more obsessed than the next.
