New Zealand; Milkman Rob gives his girlfriend Lucinda a ring in a difficult phase of their relationship. To save their relationship, Drosophila (Lucinda's girlfriend) advises Lucinda to argue with Rob. But that threatens to get out of hand. While driving down a lonely road, enjoying her ring, Lucinda encounters an elderly woman who sets in motion a series of unpredictable events.
