Las Mantenidas sin Sueños plot
Eugenia, a precocious girl of almost nine years old, and her mother Florencia, much too young to be a mother, have an almost inverted mother-daughter relationship. Not only does Eugenia have to take care of herself completely, she also has to take care of her crippled drug-addicted mother. Florencia's mother sometimes helps financially, but she has emotionally turned away from her daughter a long time ago.
