Iluzija plot
Everything is wrong with teenager Marko's family: his father is a drunkard, his mother seems to have lost all contact with the world a while ago, and his sister is an egotist who goes her own way in search of her own happiness . Things aren't much better at school: Marko is being bullied by a group of boys, and the bullying is getting worse every day. The only person who gives him hope for the future is his Macedonian language teacher, who encourages him to write poetry. Unfortunately, this sensitive man turns out to be very different from what Marko expected.

A hopelessly sad, but beautiful film.
Realistic sketch of a boy living in a harsh, corrupt, cowardly and disconsolate environment, in an unworthy family that gives him no support or hope and, moreover, finally sees his only illusion to escape it all go up in smoke.
Very strong performances and powerful scenes in this film that weaves the aftermath of the war through this story of hopelessness and disillusionment.

Indeed an interesting film that can be found somewhere in the depths of Netflix. One from Macedonia too, and you can tell when the national anthem - which remarkably revolves around freedom - is sung a number of times.
The young Marko is fat with it, because he does not experience much freedom in his hopeless life. His father is a drunk, his mother doesn't seem to care about him and at school he is bullied and beaten by a youth gang. His only hope is his teacher who tries to get the best out of him by performing well, although this is not easy in this desolate, dilapidated environment.
Corruption and the law of the fittest applies everywhere and that results in some strong scenes. Stand up for himself and show no fear, it is one of the tips he is given if he wants to survive. You feel that moment is coming, and then there is no going back...
