Le Grand Bazar plot
Four young guys meet every morning in their friend Emile's grocery store - coffee house. Awakening is always a painful affair and the daily cup of black coffee is necessary to cope with the day's aches and pains. After their coffee, they rush to work, where they invariably arrive late. One day they want to break with that rut. They are developing a transport vehicle that is very similar to a motorcycle. Emile agrees to engage them and the vehicle. They order his merchandise to customers all over the city. But then a supermarket opens nearby.

The four friends, better known as Les Charlottes, help Michel Galabru, known for Monsieur Le Capitain in the gendarme films, in this hilarious comedy at the time. The grocer versus the hypermarché. The humor is simple and either provides a continuous smile in my case or is too bland to look further for perhaps others. The era, fashion, clothing worn, vehicles, etc. are clearly shown. The motorcycle chase is very strong, where everything is filmed in real time. All in all, an entertaining and relaxing film. Claude Zidi through and through.
