Very strong film, with good roles for Göring was convincing.

The real images were very impressive and emotional.

It is still shocking to see those images, after having seen so many films about the War.

Excellent mini-series about the war process in Nuremberg immediately after the Second World War. An engrossing film about the trial of the century that is certainly gripping and contains some strong court scenes (to the credit of the cast too). The film manages to focus fairly well on a number of important aspects of this process.

Very entertaining and captivating series/movie. An unprecedented piece of history that you should actually have seen just to know what is happening in the world. But despite its length and the many dialogues, the film never becomes so boring or sleep-inducing that you can't watch it in one go. Moreover, the whole contains a fine balance between a certain lightness, drama, and also a bit of tension. Also worked great with old footage and of course the infamous film that was shown during the process. Here and there the atmosphere is nicely worked on in the courtroom with the necessary threatening music. Everything neatly in balance. I definitely don't see Baldwin as someone who can carry such a heavy role, but because of the good balance and his natural charisma he does a great job. Brian Cox, however, steals the show with his portrayal of the flamboyant, garrulous, gossip, mood maker Goering. Although in that sense he does not particularly resemble it in terms of face, he must have been not far off in character. Great role in that sense.

Oh...and always nice to see Jill Hennessy.
