"He's after more than just milk and cookies."
Criminal Jack Clayton manages to escape in a Santa suit after breaking into a department store and ends up about a hundred kilometers away in the small village of Evergreen, where people still trust each other. The local bank turns out to be an ideal target to rob, if there is a lot of money on Christmas Eve. Until then, he can work as Santa Claus who has to lure customers to the Christmas trees of single mother Sarah Gibson's garden center. This is the ideal cover, but as he gets to know Sarah, her daughter and the other villagers better, he begins to question his plan.
