Welkom Thuis plot

In Welcome at home, filmmaker Frans Bromet and his sister Carla look at the many quarrels that took place in their family. One feud, which arose on the Jewish side of his family after World War II, has still not been resolved and settled. While in Israel, Bromet unravels the origins of the family conflict, he discovers similarities between his feuding relatives and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. If a small misunderstanding leads to a long-running feud in his own family, can the big problems in the Middle East ever be solved?
