Ruthie and Or, mother and 17-year-old daughter, live in a small apartment in Tel-Aviv. Ruthie has been a prostitute for years, which arouses increasing resistance from her daughter. Despite this opposition, Ruthie continues to take to the streets. Or works at a diner owned by her boyfriend's parents and watches her mother's health deteriorate rapidly as a result of her work. When Or has to pick up her mother from the hospital, she has had enough and makes a decision that will keep her mother off the street for good.
