La Legione dei Dannati plot

WWII. An army unit, consisting of 28 men, led by Irish Colonel Charlie McPhearson has just been completely massacred by the German army except for him. Furious with his superiors who had assigned him this suicide mission, he resentfully recruits only ex-convicts for his next mission, to defuse a number of underwater mines. What he does not know is that his direct German opponent in this confrontation is the one responsible for the death of his previous army unit.
