This promised a lot after the 1st scene, but unfortunately my expectations were soon dashed to the ground. Ooh, the acting was so weak, especially from that grandson and the Santa Claus himself. the Ravin is cute and I can't get mad about that

Something so nice could have been made of this topic, but the level just kept plummeting. Sint is almost even better and that says a lot. Or they should have made a really hard horror movie out of this or an extremely humorous movie. The combination here detracts from both genres. Dare to make choices director! No, this was pretty bad.

Early February: the perfect time for a Christmas slander. Über bad reputation, but only partly justified. The first half actually has everything I'm looking for in this kind of slaughter pulp. Fast tempo, big killer, funny (and high) body count.. what's not to like? Well, so the second half. Works rather showy towards an end like you've seen it 100 times, but mostly loses sight of the brash fun of the first part. A bit of a shame, but smooth and bland (often painfully un-funny) entertainment. Let's call it a guilty pleasure again.

revised.

What a nostalgic film this remains, if I remember correctly Santa's Slay was the first horror film I saw. It was one of those films that I secretly watched, without anyone else knowing, along with my nephew. I was very scared then, but now I can only laugh about it.

The movie is really crappy, but Santa's Slay will always have a place in my horror heart. The story is completely ridiculous and the course of this questionable, but it is still really great clunky fun that keeps you interested for the full 78 minutes. Goldberg is really cut out for this role if you ask me.

The first half hour is completely retarded. The craziest kills you can imagine are in it. I used to think they were scary, now I think they're great. Had a lot of fun with the tricks of Goldberg who knows how to build up his carnage count very quickly.

Furthermore, some bad humor that I can certainly appreciate and a large portion of rudeness. The finale is completely ridiculous, but because this film has such a nostalgia, it is also very nice for me. There's just something fun and playful about it.

Hilarious movie. Bad story, bad course and at times also mediocre CGI, but Goldberg steals the show and the film is remarkably bombastic. Enough clunky kills to keep you entertained and enough humor. Moreover, this nonsense only lasts 78 minutes, so you can get through it quickly. By the way, that opening is also a sequence to cherish in the horror world if you have some background knowledge about it.
