The Chase plot

Chuck Scott finds a wallet in the street and returns it to its rightful owner. Unfortunately, the owner Eddie Roman turns out to be a gangster, but because he offers Chuck a lucrative job as a driver, he doesn't question it. It isn't until he meets Roman's wife Lorna that Chuck realizes it might not be a good idea to work for Roman.
