Hakuchi plot
It is the early 1990s and Japan is still in World War II. Izawa lives alone in a poor neighborhood and thinks about suicide every day. His life takes a slightly different turn when he finds his neighbor Sayo, who is also depressed and lonely, hiding in his room. The two put each other at ease in a world where bombing is a daily occurrence and where each day could be their last.
