Madeleine Damien is the fashion editor of a Manhattan magazine by day and a party animal by night. Unfortunately, the pressures of her job and her bad luck with men become too much for her and she collapses. A psychiatrist advises her to resign and move. There she meets her nice new neighbor, but unfortunately her past resurfaces when a murder is committed.
